Dr. Joanna Heidtman is a psychologist, sociologist, consultant, and executive coach. She gained her knowledge and experience at institutions such as the University of South Carolina and Cornell University in the USA. For 14 years, she led research on conflict and group dynamics at the Group Process Workshop at the Jagiellonian University.
She is a co-manager at Heidtman & Piasecki, and a co-founder of the Foundation for Intellectual Capital. She lectures in postgraduate studies at SWPS University, teaching leadership, effective team work, group dynamics, and personal effectiveness. She collaborates with the Leadership Psychology Academy led by Jacek Santorski. Dr. Heidtman conducts individual coaching and consulting sessions in the field of psychology. Her lectures and workshops have become an integral part of change and development processes in dozens of companies across various industries. She designs and implements multi-month Leadership Development Programs, and supports and consults on change processes in organizations.
Her publications have appeared in both scientific and popular journals, including Harvard Business Review, Coaching, ThinkTank, Newsweek Psychology, Zwierciadło, and Sens. She also collaborates as an expert with online portals, radio, and television stations. Dr. Heidtman holds the “Art & Science of Coaching” certificate from Erickson College International, the “Insights Discovery™” license, and a certificate in Action Learning team coaching.
She is currently completing a 4-year program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Her books, “In Harmony with Yourself, In Harmony with Others” and “Group Processes”, focus on individual effectiveness and team dynamics. Her most recent book, co-authored with Piotr Piasecki, is “SENSOTWÓRCZOŚĆ. How to Manage Knowledge Workers in Modern Organizations” (Published by MTBiznes).
