Since 2016, Marcin Mączyński has served as the General Secretary and Board Member of the Polish Chamber of Hotel Industry (IGHP), the largest economic self-government organization in the hotel industry. Since 2020, he has been actively involved in the work of the Meetings and Events Industry Council #TUgether, of which IGHP is a founding member.
From 2007 to 2013, he worked in the Gromada Hotels network, where he held various roles, including Director of the Central Sales and Marketing Office and Director of the Hotels Office. From 2014 to 2016, he held managerial positions in the Trip Group, including Advisor to the Management Board and Vice President of the Management Board of Hotel Ossa, one of the largest conference hotels in Poland. For many years, he has been actively involved in self-government organizations within the hotel and tourism sector.
In 2014, he was elected to the Board of the Polish Chamber of Hotel Industry. He also served as Vice President of the Board of the IATA Agents Association in Poland, Chair of the IATA Committee in the Polish Chamber of Tourism, and a member of the Program Council of the Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT). He sits on the Polish Olympic Committee’s Commission for Cooperation with Polish Diaspora. During the COVID-19 crisis, he actively participated in industry teams working on optimal support solutions for hoteliers. Marcin Mączyński is a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
