This is a global program aimed at non-chain burger joints (below 10 locations under the same name), gastronomic venues whose main activity is the preparation and sale of burgers.
Applications for the new edition were closed on February 12, 2024. Burger joints that qualify for the final will participate in the HEINZ Selection Finals which will take place on March 21, 2024, during the SMAKKi Gastro Fairs at the EXPO XXI in Warsaw.
The task for the 20 finalists will be to prepare their flagship burger, which will give them a chance to win. The use of at least one HEINZ sauce will be mandatory. The selection criteria will primarily include taste and appearance, but also the manner of preparation.
The competition committee will consist of a Professional Jury which will include Kraft Heinz Advisors from Poland and abroad, and Experts from our Partners, as well as a Tasting Jury among whom will sit Heinz brand manager Steve Chantry and culinary influencers: Maciej je, Bagiński and Jawor.
