Łukasz Smoliński is the CEO of DESEO Polska Sp. z o.o., overseeing the network of boutique pastry shops called DESEO Patisserie & Chocolaterie.
Previously involved in the advertising industry, he worked on both sides, within international network agencies (McCann Erickson) and on the client’s side (tp, Orange). From 2009 to 2013, he owned a non-standard communication agency called Brainshake, and later became a co-owner of the capital group Andmore, which comprised agencies specializing in various areas of marketing communication. He also served as a jury member in advertising competitions. Since 2012, he has been a co-owner of the tealab network Bubblejoy (formerly operating under the Bubbleology brand), which has been successfully operating in the Polish market for 10 years and has locations in major cities in Poland.
Since April 2016, he has been managing the development, strategy, and operational activities of the DESEO Patisserie & Chocolaterie brand, which currently has 6 stores in Warsaw, one in Poznań at the prestigious Stary Browar, and a newly opened store in Montownia in Gdańsk. By the end of 2023, DESEO plans to open 3 more stores – in Sopot, Łódź, and Wrocław.
Since 2013, Łukasz Smoliński, together with his fiancée Natalia Sitarska, has been running one of the most popular travel and culinary blogs in Poland, Tasteaway.pl. They regularly collaborate with major brands and entities promoting foreign regions in Poland, creating travel and culinary guides, advising on traveling with children, and recommending dining spots. Privately, he is a fan of good cuisine, extreme culinary experiences, and the father of Max and Jagoda.
