Nopasi Niyamabha is a career diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. She was previously serving in the Department of European Affairs from 2016 – 2019. In 2019, she pursued her advanced studies at Columbia University in New York. After graduation, she served under the Department of American Affairs before she was assigned to station at the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw in 2022. Currently, she is the Head of the Consular Section at the Embassy and is also responsible for public diplomacy, promoting Thailand’s soft power ‘5F’ – Food, Film, Fashion, Festivals, and Fight (Muaythai).
She is a foodie with an immense passion for Thai street food. Although she was born and raised in Bangkok, in her childhood she spent a lot of summer breaks in her mother’s hometown, Buriram, located in the Northeastern part of Thailand. It was where she developed her passion for Isaan (Northeast Thailand) food. She enjoys traveling to different parts of Thailand to try out local dishes and to experience the diverse flavors of Thai tastes.
